FSC – TRADEMARK

For the construction of climbing and bouldering walls Mountain Network has chosen the use wood with the FSC trademark.

The FSC (the Forest Stewardship Council) is an international organization that promotes responsible forest management and sustainable timber. FSC is an independent, widely supported and global system, that has created the standards for forest management and the chain of custody worldwide. All FSC products have a label for identification.

The core work of the FSC is to ensure that forests, both tropical and non-tropical, are well managed. To be sure that the timber comes from well managed forests, the FSC followes the entire supply chain. Only when the global FSC standards are met, the product may be equipped with an FSC certificate.
